sunny 105.1 feel good booklet

We at Sunny 105.l, Jordan’s Feel Good station, asked our radio listeners what made them “feel good” about living in Jordan. We immediately were met with a flood of emails and texts from our listeners suggesting people, places, and events that put a smile on every Jordanian’s face.

With so many fantastic entries, we thought it only made sense to combine them in one place, creating the ultimate compilations of what’s great about this country. So, the “105.1 Feel Good Things in Jordan” booklet was born.

We hope that you can sit back, relax, and as you’re flicking through these pages, feel good about where you are. It’s what we aim to do.

kulacom announces favorite artist

Thousands of Jordanians attended the Sunny Art Fair in December and voted for their favorite featured artist.

To help encourage local Jordanian artists, Kulacom held a competition for the Sunny Art Fair “favorite artist”.

Congratulations to the winner - Karma Shawa

This young artist was raised in a family with a strong appreciation for the Arts. As a child, she was mentored by her aunt, artist Laila Shawa, and won the Prince Hassan Award for Islamic Art while she was an IB student.

She obtained her undergraduate degree from the London School of Economis and, despite pursuing a career in the public sector - still found time to study art in an effort to further her passion.

Karma exhibited her artwork for the first time at the Sunny Art Fair.

She hopes to complete her first solo exhibition in the very near future.

Special thanks to Kulacom for supporting local artists and highlighting the importance of Art in Jordan.
